Why should I hire you versus another copywriter? I have over 20 years' professional writing experience across a wide range of sectors. I have created content for websites, newspapers, magazines, newsletters, brochures, advertisements etc.
As for my qualifications, I have a BA in journalism, a diploma in editing and publishing, and have completed an intensive copywriting course at the Australian School of Copywriting.
Do you also do editing? A: Definitely! Due to budget restraints, some clients prefer to write their own content and then send me their work to edit. In this case, I'll just charge them an editing fee.
How much do you charge for your copywriting services? Compared to other Sydney copywriters, my rates are somewhere in the middle of the range. I quote each writing project on an individual basis because every project is different. I try to assess the complexity of a project and the level of expertise required.
I base my fees on the value I provide to your business. In the long run, good content doesn’t cost you money, it makes you money by effectively selling your products or services. It is an investment in your business.
Do you require a deposit? Where the amount is less than $500, I require a non-refundable deposit of 100% of the total fee. For projects over $500, I require a 50% deposit. The balance is payable 2 weeks after delivery of the first draft.

Once I hear from you, I'll make the necessary changes and we'll go from there.
How many changes can I make to your copy? I allow for two rounds of revisions. This is usually more than enough to get the job done.
What happens if I need to change the scope of the project as we go? I provide a project quote based on the parameters we discuss. If the scope of the project changes or grows, we'll discuss what you need and I’ll adjust the budget accordingly. I’m always happy to help and accommodate where possible.
Do you meet with your copywriting clients? Face-to-face meetings are not usually required unless the project is complicated and needs extensive briefing. Most clients prefer to communicate via email, by phone and by Skype. For large accounts, I am willing to do an initial face to face meeting. After that meetings will be charged at an hourly rate. Travel time and costs will be in addition.
Will I have to sign a contract? Yes. After we’ve discussed the parameters of your copywriting project, I’ll put together an agreement detailing the scope of the project, the time it will take, and the agreed cost. The agreement is a good way for both of us to ensure that we have the same expectations.
Approval of copywriting or other writing services provided must be clearly stated in writing via email.

I always do my best to accommodate my clients, but it will depend on how many copywriting projects I have lined up. If your project has a tight deadline, please let me know up front. I’ll tell you right away whether I can accommodate your request.
What if I live in another state or country? Can we still work together? Definitely. We can work by phone, email or Skype. The process moves along smoothly and you won’t even notice that we are not in the same city.
